How can I clean my watch?
At
the beginning you should remove the red crystal before you can brush
the watch with a fine sponge out of steel-wool. Do not distend it too
much, it´s nicer, if your watch doesn´t look like new to
show that is an old and original LED. This way, the watch obtains the
original, brushed look. Do not polish your LED, it´s not true
to original.

B2)
How can I remove the red crystal?
Remove
the module and the washer from the watch case. Heat your standard kitchen
oven up to 200°C (~ 400°F) and put the case inside the oven,
not longer than 5 minutes. Prepare a towel to push the red crystal out
of the case and on the towel. A folded sheet of paper might help you.
Always press from the inside of the watch case. Use cold water to cool
down the case, but keep the crystal on the towel until it is cold. You
might destroy the crystal, if you cool it down too fast.

Important maintenance of a LED watch:
After
a restoration or if you wear your LED every day it is a good idea to change
its washer, especially, if the watch still contents the original one.
A new washer doesn´t cost more than 12USD, but might be very important
to extend the lifetime of your module. Clamminess can interfuse through
an old washer into the inside of the case and destroys the module. We
advise to take off your watch during the night or on hot summer days (the
surface of your skin usually becomes a bit clammy). However if you are
living In Germany, you can wear your watch 365 days a year (...)

How to clean a bracelet:
Because of the hugh
number of segments, it is a bit difficult to clean the bracelet by hand.
Good results can be received in an ultrasonic bath. This method is also
bracelet-friendly. A small home-use ultrasonic bath can often be bought
for less than 50USD. Please remove the bracelet from the case, before
you put it in the bath. Smaller dents or scratches can be brushed with
a steel-wool spronge.
