A) Foreword:

Read about how an LED watch works, how to repair it and how to take care of the watches with the unusual look. They can be seen as a forerunner of the LCD timepieces from the 80s which are lately coming back into vogue.You might be surprised that such famous manufactors as Omega, Girard Perregaux, Tag Heuer or Breitling all had LED watches in range.

We´ve just started to develop new modules to these watches which cannot be repaired with simple quartz or driver exchange. So please send us an email if you have been waiting for a brand new module for a long time.

 

B) Restoration of a LED watch:

Watches, which are more than 30 years old might lost in attraction because of their age or due to the normal signs of wear. It is not important, to restore a watch back into new condition. it is much nicer, if the age of a watch can be seen, which doesn´t mean, that a watch with heavy signs of wear shouldn´t be restored. This part B gives information how the clean the bracelet, brush the case or service the watches with the curious designs.

C) tech and module repair:

Moreover we offer a (module) repair service for LED watches. Because of our experience in repairing LED modules it is easy to say, if a module has a chance to be repaired - if it has maybe a repairable oscillator circuit problem, a defective segment driver transistor or a non-working IC.
